The Divine Mercy Petition box at the back of the chapel is placed on the altar every Wed for the Divine Mercy Chaplet & Rosary

Church Gate Collection in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association amounted to €145.00 in Meenacross and €615.80 in Dungloe. Thanks to all who contributed and collectors also.

Mary From Dungloe If you are interested in having a stall at the Mary from Dungloe Festival food and craft fair either on Sunday 24^th July 12 – 3 in Cope Street or on Thursday 28^th July 11 - 4 in the arcade.  Please email Pat on pat.makinson@yahoo.ie or text 0833233887. Covered stalls will be provided by the Cope on the 24^th July and on the 28^th tables are provided and the arcade is indoors.

Workshop for kids A 2 day fun workshop will be held in Ionad Teampaill Chroine on Mon/Tues 8^th & 9^th of August from 10 to 2 pm.  Activities include art, computing & storytelling and nature walks.  €20 per person.  Age 6 up.

Hospice Table Quiz A table quiz in aid of Donegal Hospice will be held in Ionad An Mhachaire on Wednesday 3^rd August at 8.30pm.  Great prizes.  Come along and support this very worthy cause.

Mary From Dungloe Final Sunday there will be a band competition following the carnival parade.  This will take place at lower Main Street.  Anybody willing to assist please contact Kevin on 086 6033103 or nuala on 086 8373983.

The Patrick Sweeney memorial Cup will take place at the Astro turf Chapel Rd on sat 30^th July at 12 o’clock between Quay rd V Chapel Rd.  Also the under age game will take place .  Donations for the Dungloe Hospital Fund.

Summer Camp A three day Multi sport camp takes place at the Rosses Community School  Sports Facilities from Tues 2^nd August  until Thurs 4^th of August .  This Camp is for boys and girls aged 5 to 13 years.  The fee is €30 per child (family rates available) and it runs from 10am until 3pm each day.  For bookings and further info contact John Ward @ 086 6036406

Thank You Rosaleen and Sonia McShane would like to thank all who supported them, baked, gave donations and helped with their fundraising tea party which took place in the Burtonport community centre on thurs 14^th July.  The amount raised was €1910 for The Friends of Letterkenny Hospital as part of their participation in The New York Marathon 2011.   A very enjoyable night was had by all.

Dungloe Tidy Towns Congratulations to all businesses and householders in Dungloe and environs who have put in a great effort painting their premises in the last while Dungloe is looking splendid with all the new work happening!! Well done to all concerned.

Graveyard Ceremonies are taking place on August 6^th.  We would encourage everyone to please do everything possible to get neglected graves tidied up.  Please assist with plots that may not have a family member in the area to assist.  Lots of graves have tall weeds on them.  Please remove where possible if tending to your own family plot, pleased assist by tidying the plot adjacent.  Please remove all refuse gathered during tidying from the graveyards.  Thank You.

Somalia Fund Coffee Morning with a traditional Irish Music twist in the community café in Ionad Teampaill Chróine on wed 3^rd at 11pm.  All proceeds in Aid of the famine in Somalia.  Come Along and support this worthwhile cause.
