I believe a great uncle of mine, Canon Thomas Molloy, was based in Dungloe in the 1950s/1960s.  His brother (my grandfather) emigrated to England early in the 20th century and I had little contact with his family.  I think I met Uncle Tom once - I have a vague memory of him.  He helped to pay for my eductaion in London, and he also used to send my mother turkeys at Christmas.  That's all I know

If anyone has any memories of him, I would be grateful to receive them.  Cheers!

Dear simon,

Thank you for your enquiry and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  I do remember Canon Molloy as a child but would not have any great knowledge of him.  I will make enquiries and get back to you.

Kind regards
