Tourism 

 FETAC Level 4

Names are now being taken for this 1 year course which will be held in Ionad Teampaill Chróine commencing in October.

Retail Management 

 FETAC Level 4

This is an 8 week course which will be delivered here in ITC.This course is a great opportunity for you to explore what might be like to work in a retail outlet, and you will also get a Fetac 3 Certificate  on completion. Horticulture

FETAC Level 4

 This course is open to all and in particular those in receipt of Social Welfare Benefit.On completion participants can progress to further study or those interested can start their own business or maybe get employment in this field. The course will be run over one year and will consist of a one day per week.

Healthcare Support

FETAC Level 5 Major Award

This is a full 8 module certificate course designed to prepare you for employment as a care assistant in the health care sector and/or further study. The course has a strong practical focus and is open to both men and women. Those in receipt of   Social Welfare will continue to hold  their weekly payments.  This course will prepare you to work as a healthcare assistant in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and home help support. You will receive a recognised qualification and will also prepare students for further training in healthcare, in the institute of technology in Ireland.This course will be commencing in 4 weeks. Due to the high level of interest in this course , anyone interested is advised to call and register their interest in order to avoid disappointment. .No qualifications necessary.

Morning Art Class

We provide a full range of art classes for adults catering for all levels from beginner and intermediate to advanced students in oil and acrylic. Painting is a wonderful and therapeutic way to relax and de-stress.

Beginners Computers

If computers are confusing or intimidating, this class is for you. This course is for those with absolutely no knowledge of computers.We will cover the basics: From turning your computer on and off properly, using the keyboard and mouse to basic applications.

First Aid

This course educates participants in the proper response to any emergency.
Occupational First Aid Courses are heavily focused on, trauma that would be likely
to occur at your workplace. It meets and exceeds current Health & Safety Standards and requirements for employee training.

TEG Gaeilge

We offer certified TEG courses in the Irish language .Whether you’re a total beginner or want to brush up your current skills.

Intermediate Computers This course is designed for those who want to know more than the basics. The course applies emphasis on Word Processing, spreadsheets, email and internet. It is an ideal follow on from our Beginners course.

 Over 50’s Computers In a friendly, relaxed and supportive atmosphere discover the basics of using a computer; how to create professional looking letters, household accounts (Spreadsheets), and use the internet. No pressure, no tests or exams.

Internet & Email Want to know how to email? How to shop online or book flights online? This course will show you how to safely navigate your way through the web, learn to use the Internet safely ,how to create a Webmail account, and send and receive emails.

Kidz Fun Art Class Children will explore, discover, and develop their creativity and imagination. We'll experiment with art materials such as: paints, pencils, markers, oil pastels, etc. With an introduction to basic elements of art. Leave the mess with us and take home a 'masterpiece'!!!

Knit & Stitch Learn the basics of knitting and embroidery, in a relaxed environment .Whether you’re a beginner or just want to get back to it, this class is for you!

 Flower Arranging: Our course will introduce you to the basic tools and equipment you need. You'll get to know the importance of care and     conditioning, and how you can create         effects with colour,   texture and design. Enroll on our flower arranging course and you'll learn how to use your natural flair to create anything from everyday flower   arrangements to special occasion         displays.

Seed to Table: A beginner’s guide to growing your own. This course covers all aspects of growing food produce from seed. Topics covered include seed health, crop improvement, managing pests, harvesting and storing  etc. 

Digital Photography:This course will take introduce you to the digital imaging processes.The course is made up of 8 separate sessions. You will learn how to capture and edit   images using your own digital cameras. The course will also       explore the potential offered by   digital imaging software, Adobe PhotoShop, and briefly cover printing and image storage options.

Safe Pass

Kidz Computer Class :  This class aims to help      children understand the   basics of how computers work and how to use them, taught in a child friendly   environment.

SafePass :  This course is runs regularly for those wishing to gain  SafePass certification.

C.P.C for all truck and bus drivers.

Social Welfare receipients will hold on to their benifits while doing these courses.
